History

The company was founded in 1925 under the name Arti Grafiche Gelmini. Between the two world wars, it mainly focused on publishing for the pharmaceutical and food sectors. From the 1960s to the mid-1970s, its main business was the melamine plate market, while from 1975 to 1990, it produced vacuum cleaner filter bags.
Label production began in 1973, initially in the beverage sector, and later expanded to the oil market and, more recently, to over-the-counter products, including pet food. Since the 1980s, Grafiche Gelmini has been involved in the creation and publication of medical books and pharmaceutical material.
Currently, the administrative and management headquarters is in Milan, while production is distributed across several locations in Italy.

The small company from 1925 exists only in memory; however, it has built an enormous legacy of field experience, both from a managerial and technical-aesthetic perspective.
Continuous organizational and technological development over these 80 years of work, applied to increasingly demanding productions and multinational clients, allows Grafiche Gelmini to stand at the highest levels in the global market for technology, competitiveness, quality, and service.

Today, the main activity is supporting large companies and their products. In this regard, the company has always been committed to ensuring low environmental impact (BIA) for its products throughout their life cycle. It is worth noting that the company has never undergone a dramatic shift to plastic.
